In 2015, Dr. Amarendra Dewan envisioned a fertility centre in Guwahati that would bring world-class reproductive medicine to the doorsteps of families across Northeast India. At the time, couples seeking advanced fertility treatments like IVF and ICSI had to travel long distances to metro cities — a journey fraught with emotional, physical, and financial strain. Maa IVF Assam was born out of the desire to change that reality.
From a modest beginning on Hatigaon Main Road, the clinic quickly earned a reputation for its transparent approach, exceptional success rates, and deeply compassionate care. Dr. Dewan assembled a team of dedicated gynecologists, embryologists, and support staff who shared a singular passion: helping couples experience the transformative joy of parenthood. Over the next decade, Maa IVF grew from strength to strength.
